  • Get your protein from seafood like fish. Fish are low in calories and help with weight loss.
  • Eat more nuts, which are good sources of energy and help with weight management.
  • Minimize your salt, unhealthy fat and sugar intake.
  • Stay away from processed, fatty and deep-fried foods.
  • Drink an ample amount of water or fresh fruit and vegetable juices. Avoid soft drinks and juices with artificial sweeteners.

Note: Do not crash diet, as it can adversely affect your health.

Additional Tips

  • If your large breasts have become tender, painful or inflamed, try a cold compress to reduce these symptoms.
  • Eat smaller meals more often. This will help you feel less hungry.

A backache, neck pain, the shoulder pain is something you might have experienced and how can you forget not finding clothes that fit well? There are many ways you can reduce your bust size such as OTC pills, using creams and lotions and surgical reduction but did you know there’s a cheaper and a safer way to do  it? It is exercising and following the right diet.

The breast tissue is made up of fat tissue and hence reduction in body fat percentage helps in reducing breast size. Here are some exercises and diet tips from  Mihir Gadani, Co-Founder and Fitness Specialist At FitCircle, that will help you reduce the size of your breasts and solve your problem.

Upper body exercises that focus on the chest along with cardio exercises like jogging, running, cycling or swimming can help you tone and shape your breasts.
Push Ups — Push ups not only help in toning in your biceps, they are excellent to tone your chest muscles. Get into a plank position with your arms shoulder width apart. Now bend your elbows and slowly go down. Come back to the original position. Repeat the exercises 10 to 15 times. If you find it difficult to do push ups, you can simplify the exercises by doing push-ups against a wall.

Chest Press–To perform a chest press, lie flat on the ground or a bench with dumbbells in each hand. If you are lying on the floor, keep your knees bent. If you are using a bench, make sure your feet are on the either side of the bench and touch the floor. Once in this position, bring the dumbbells  near your chest and push them up. Bring them down so that your elbows and  shoulder are in a straight line. Use dumbbells weighing one or two kg, alternatively you can use 1 litre bottles filled with water. Do 10- 15 repetitions of this exercise. Chest press helps in reducing the fat around the chest.

Chest open jacks                           

A dynamic cardio exercise like chest open jacks is effective in toning chest muscles fat reduction. Do 2-3 minutes of this with increasing intensity. This exercise is similar to jumping jacks but instead raising your hands over your head, bring them in front of your chest.

Dual Arm Fly

This is a free weight exercise that helps in reducing excess fat from around the upper chest.  To perform a dual arm fly, hold the weights in both the hands and do the fly movement.

Along with these exercises, you must also focus on low to medium-impact cardio workouts like working out on a stationary bike, treadmill or an elliptical trainer. Workout for 30 minutes every day for five days.

Diet--If you are following an exercise plan, make sure you are eating the right quantity of food to replenish the spent energy. Eat a balanced diet and avoid following fad or crash diets as it might lead to weakness. Include foods like ginger, flax seeds, green tea, fenugreek and high protein foods like nuts, soya or eggs  in your diet. These foods help in burning excess fat from your body by enhancing the metabolism.
